Many of our articles are buying guides and comparisons rather than hands-on lab tests. This page explains that distinction honestly.
What our guides are
Our product guides synthesise publicly available information, specifications, common use cases, and typical buyer considerations, to help you shortlist options and understand trade-offs.
What our guides are not
Unless an article explicitly states that we physically tested a product, our guides should be read as research-based overviews, not independent lab results. We do not publish invented test data, measurements, or scores.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links. These never change our recommendations. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
If and when genuine hands-on testing is introduced, document the real equipment, criteria, and scoring here. Until then, do not claim independent testing.
